Objective: To compare the effects of SLIPA laryngeal mask and LMA Supreme laryngeal mask on hemodynamics, respiratory mechanics, and intraoperative and postoperative complications in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) under general anesthesia. Methods: A total of 120 elderly patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia were randomly divided into SLIPA laryngeal mask group (S group, n=60) and LMA Supreme laryngeal mask group (L group, n=60). The laryngeal mask placement time and the success rate of the first attempt were observed. Before the induction of anesthesia (T0), the laryngeal mask insertion was successfully inserted (T1), 5 minutes after the laryngeal mask was inserted (T2), the laryngeal mask was withdrawn immediately (T3), and the laryngeal mask was removed 5 minutes (T4), and the patients' heart rate (HR) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) were recorded, respectively. The peak airway pressure (Ppeak), airway plateau pressure (Pplat), mean airway pressure (Pmean), minute ventilation (MV) and partial pressure of carbon dioxide at the end of tidal tidal (PETCO2) before and 10 min, 20 min and 30 min after establishment were recorded. The occurrence of complications such as intraoperative gastric distension, airway leakage, postoperative reflux and aspiration, laryngeal spasm, sore throat, and blood in the laryngeal mask was observed. Results: The average insertion time of laryngeal mask in group S and group L was 12.9 s and 7.6 s, respectively, and the success rate of the first attempt was 86.6% and 98.3%, respectively. Compared with the ANAND group, the HR and MAP of group L at T1 and T3 were significantly reduced (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of Ppeak, Pplat, Pmean, MV, PETCO2 and complications between the two groups at 10 min, 20 min and 30 min after the establishment of pneumoperitoneum (P>). 0.05). However, 21.6% of the laryngeal mask was in the S group and 3.3% in the L group.
